What is nomigraines.org?
Quite simply, nomigraines.org is a site dedicated to helping people find out more about migraines so they can find relief and prevent future migraines.

Migraine Triggers /Causes
Many things can trigger migraines, from eye strain to strong smells/fragrances. The most common triggers that can cause headaches or migraines include:
- Hunger - make sure you eat regular small meals or you might be hit with headache and migraine pain before you know it!
- Alcohol - go easy :)
- Environmental factors (e.g., weather, altitude, time zone changes)
- Caffeine - coffee, chocolate etc. Chocolate almost deserves a slot of it's own.
- MSG - monosodium glutamate - usually found in Chinese food. Essentially a form of salt.
- Nitrates - usually found in processed food.
- Too much sunlight and/or glare
- Hormonal changes in women - you know, that time of month.
- Lack of sleep - don't stay up on the internet too long reading this! ;)
- Medication - unless it's migraine medication of course... let's hope that doesn't cause migraines... ;P
- Strong Smells / Perfumes / Fragrances
- Stress
